Refund and cancellation policy

Neofy Matrix Software Consulting Co., Ltd. offers paid project-based consulting services. This policy explains cancellations, the statutory withdrawal period where applicable, and how refunds are handled.

Distance contracts and withdrawal

Under Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act, consumers who enter distance contracts for services may have a seven-day withdrawal period (七日猶豫期) unless an exception applies. For custom professional services that begin with your express consent before the period ends, the law may limit withdrawal once performance has started. We document consent and start dates in writing before billable work begins.

Cancellation before work starts

If you cancel after signing a statement of work but before we commence scheduled work, we refund any prepaid fees for undelivered services within fourteen business days, minus non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf if disclosed in advance.

Cancellation after work has started

Fees for completed milestones or delivered artifacts are non-refundable. For time-and-materials blocks, you pay for hours already worked at the agreed rate. We provide a summary of hours and outputs upon cancellation.

Deposits and scheduling

Deposits reserve calendar capacity and may be partially retained if you cancel within seven days of a scheduled workshop or on-site session without rescheduling, up to the amount stated in your quote.

No-shows and rescheduling

Missed meetings without twenty-four hours’ notice may count against prepaid blocks. One good-faith reschedule per engagement is usually accommodated when requested promptly.

Quality concerns

If deliverables materially fail the agreed scope, notify us within ten business days of delivery. We will remedy or re-perform within scope, or agree a partial refund where remediation is not feasible.

How to request a refund

Email info@neofy-matrix.digital with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We respond within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method when possible, otherwise by bank transfer in TWD.
